subtropical region hornbill is the State Bird of Arunachal Pradesh.
Scientific name of hornbill
is Bucerotidae. This bird is significantly considered as an important species
of Arunachal, it has great cultural attachment especially with Nyishi Tribe of
Arunachal Pradesh. It is official bird of Arunachal Pradesh.
In Arunachal Pradesh
Hornbill are mostly found Pakke Kesang Tiger Reserve with four different
species

Breeding Season of Hornbill
is in the month of January to April.
If you look at the life span
of Hornbill is approximately 35-40 year in wild forest. But with human care it
can survive upto 50 years.
