Name: Statue of Dignity.
Location: On National Highway between Itanagar and Naharlagun
State: Arunachal Pradesh.

The statue was originally build by Mr. Takar Riba during the year of 1985. The Statue was single - handed made by Mr. Takar Riba. Mr. Takar Riba was born and brought up in Disi Village of Basar which falls under Lepa Rada district,
He is also known as 1st Fine Art Artist of Arunachal Pradesh, he also made lots of tableau models to Represent Arunachal Pradesh for 26 January Republic day.
The Statue was originally built to pay tribute to the hardworking local labours, as in those days, there were an inadequate amount of machine to construct the road. So, all the hard works were done by local labours.
Mr. Takar Riba who built the statue said that name of statue is " Statue of Dignity" for Labours.
