Namdhapa National Park

Namdhapa National park is also known as Namdhapa Tiger Reserve.

It was established in the year of 1974 which is spreaded over the area of 1,985 kilometres square in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

In this national park various endangered species are found which may be extinct if proper care and preservation and not availed. 

This is one of the endangered species of Hoolock Gibbon which is found in Namdhapa National Park.

During the occasion of international day for biological diversity on may 2022. Government of Arunachal Pradesh has taken some serious steps to preserve such an endangered species which includes prohibition of movement of tourists, fliming and videography for few day and also engaged in various mantainance steps.

If proper steps were not taken yet, it will be not long time to extinct of such species.
